Hello everyone this week I made the most amazing discovery. I found out you could update your dash without re flashing back to stock and updating then re flashing.

What you need

1.) Flashed xbox console
2.) Stock firmware dvd drive (any drive will work)
3.) Memory unit for xbox (so you're xbox can store the update files)
4.) 2gb or more usb stick formated to FAT32
5.) Latest dashboard files

Okay now that we have everything needed to continue, please follow these directions step by step to get the results wanted.

1.) Take out original flashed xbox 360 disc drive and replace it with a stock one

2.) Take your USB key thats formatted to fat 32 and drag over the system update folder onto the root of your USB key

3.) Put the USB key in one of the 3 slots

4.) Turn on you're xbox by pressing the open button

5.) Keep holding the dvd drive so it doesn't go back in and menu will prompt you to update, continue blocking the dvd drive from closing throughout the whole update.

6.) Once update says completed, replace the stock firmware drive with you're flashed one and GAME ON

wouldn't that not work due to the fact that the stock firmware dvd drive does not have the matching DVD key as the flashed one? and has anyone else tested this?

why not just flash to stock, do the update, and then flash to 1.91?
