I have been seeing a lot of private server threads and I just want to try to help people from not being hacked.
Webclient Private Server's
'I can't get hacked I'm not downloading any software'
WRONG
Java Drive-by's, these are the pop up's that asks if you would like to run this software and ALL webclient's use them because they need to use java and when you run them it installs some files onto your computer if it is a virus or not.
Downloading Private Server's
'This isn't a virus because I have scanned it with my anti virus and there is only one file'
WRONG
Files can be crypted, this is where they are undetectable by some if not all anti-virus's and virus's can now bypass Norton Sonar, Anti-malware bytes and Kapersky. Files can be binded to another file so they are essentially hidden inside of that file so when you open one file it opens the virus with it.
'There would be no point of people putting a virus into there Private Server'
WRONG
There can be keyloggers insterted into there Private Server's where it records everything you type so it gets all your passwords this also includes stealers which can steal your passwords that have been saved in your browser, a RAT could be the virus. A RAT is a Remote Administration Tool, basically they can control your computer from there home and this includes a Keylogger inside of it. These could both be binded together and then binded to the Private Server.
Not All Private Server's are Virus's just some of them, this is just a warning to be careful and only use Private Server's that trusted people advertise. Thanks

EDIT: Edited the name due to everyone knows you can get virus's from private servers but not as in depth as how I can explain it.
