i have pulled this of only once the falcon chip was canadian and the the japer cpu was taiwan ---it took me a long time to get it

i had to change the cpu , jumpers to falcon , (above chip ones below were already identical ) u may wnat to verify

the south bridge to falcon , (if u had a jasper sb with old south bridge may not have needed) again had to change jumpers on left and right of south bridge

had to change eeprom jumpers configuration > from jasper to falcon config to reflect the falcon south bridge flash config

flashed xell and boooted , prob is the south bridge pins on mobo lift extremely easily worst bga on board to work with lost one pin was able to recover with graphite pen and liquid solder paste

and as u may guess smc , xell , freeboot , etc will always be set to falcon just enjoying 40-c 'ish temps on gpu ..waiting to see if a mosfet or cap blows as the voltage difference

i started off with just cpu swap , and cpu jumper change , 0022 long delay ..should know that actually means cpu config error
then moved my way up into making all the above changes till it finally booted
i knew i had to change the south bridge as before i did , would write xell for jasper =dead board , then wrote falcon xell , box booted but into cpu config error

tried to repeat this process , and lifted 4 pins on south bridge ruining board ,..wont try again i dont think

also was told cannot put 8 ram jasper cpu in 4 ram jasper board by fellow bga tech , i knew he was wrong as all configs related to ram are straight to gpu
ended in success

i might say u could put a japser gpu in a falcon , but then i believe the ram chips would have to be identical 8 vs 4 , remove mosfet u5c1 above gpu and check config jumpers , would be experimental at minimal to say

Wow looks a nightmare, but there are people with proof saying once yu done one its easy ect.To be honest the information provided looks to be a nightmare i think a falcon cpu is better.
Am i right in saying if i transfer cpu from a falcon to falcon add the jtag hack the new console will boot xell. I can get the cpu key, then unlock the new 360 with my dead jtag cpu ?

The CPU has to be pre nxe and you have to dump the nands on both xboxes and swap them then yes you can jtag it

cpu transfers are easy but u need the the nand ( a read of it ) from the board where you are getting your exp cpu from atleast the kv raw .
nandpro lpt/usb: -r16 kv.bin 1 1 (might as read the whole nand also for fbbuild creation)

then swap exp cpu to working board , erase nand
nandpro lpt/usb: -e16

jtag it write xell , then write in kv raw if u want the dvd key from the other dead unit where you got your cpu ( nandpro usb/lpt: -w16 kv.bin 1 1 )

then i would update xell to xell-lous , connect lan cable get ip adress from xell-lous and grab keys.txt from xell-lous from pc over lan

creat fb image from dead board's nand , name to updflash.bin put on usb stick and let xell-lous flash away , enjoy
