Hi guys, I didn't really know the best spot to post this but I'll be using it on Xbox One so I figured this section should yield some results.

So I've been playing Xbox on my Official MLG BenQ monitor for quite some time now, there's nothing really wrong with it I just feel that it lacks a color range and it's a few years old now. I've been looking at monitors for a bit now and have some questions. My job is to sell TV's, I sell anything from a $150 32" to the $7000 LG OLED's, so I'm very familiar with refresh rates on TV's. Some TV's may have a 60Hz panel with a motion rate of 120, therefore the TV is doing frame insertion (or a different technology) in order to make the picture look smoother than the 60Hz native panel it has. Now I've never seen a monitor have a "motion rate" I've only seen Hz ratings.

All in all, TV's benefit from having a 120Hz panel even though your cable box or game console is only outputting 60fps to the TV, it artificially enhances that refresh rate. So my question is, would i benefit from a 144Hz monitor if the Xbox One is only outputting 60fps (at most) to the monitor.

Thanks guys, any response is much appreciated, love to hear your input.
