And it’s really, really damn big.
This mock-up (as shown off in the video below) is making me wondering if this thing is even going to fit in my TV stand. And if so, if it will be so crammed in there that ventilation could end up being something of a problem.
Microsoft is showing off the tower as just that, a tower, but quickly said that yes, you can turn it on its side just like you can with most video game consoles that are showed off vertically like the PS2 and Xbox 360 before it.
It also reinforces the fact that this thing is essentially just a mini-gaming PC, as obviously my computer tower (and most computer towers) are bigger than this thing, but with less power (at least in my case). So really, for the power, Microsoft is delivering something smaller than it could be. And yet clearly quite a change from the existing Xbox One X.
