According to reports, "Triggerheart Exelica" is the newest addition to the ever-expanding repertoire of the Xbox One Backward Compatibility. It was added couple days after "Syberia" and "Boom Boom Rocket" were included on the list.
"Triggerheart Exelica" was only available in Japanese arcades in 2006. Three years after that, it became available for Xbox Live Arcade. The game features combat-fighting using shooting weapons with unique anchor shots. It can be played up to five levels and three difficulty settings. Gamers can also use the enemy ship as a shield or throw it back as a damaging weapon.
Meanwhile, "Boom Boom Rocket" is also a title released for Xbox Live Arcade in 2007. Its gameplay involves triggering fireworks explosions at the right timing with music. It was developed by Bizarre Creations, which no longer operates.
As for "Syberia," it dates back in 2002. It is a third-person, mouse-driven adventure game that enables players to solve puzzles and other steps to progress along with the storyline. It was one of game developer Microids' most well-known games.
Prior to these three new games, players were pleased to know that Xbox One Backward Compatibility has included "Red Dead Redemption." It is one of Rockstar Games' popular open-world third-person action-adventure games. The gameplay mostly focuses on gunfights, especially the mechanic called "Dead Eye." The player also gets to travel the virtual world in places like the fictional Western US and Mexico.
Aside from "Red Dead Redemption," the Xbox feature also added two of the biggest game titles in the previous months, which include "Call of Duty: Black Ops" and "Fallout: New Vegas."
Xbox One Backwards Compatibility is a feature on game titles that can be played on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One. More titles will be revealed each month.
