hey guys just wondering if i buy a 1050 ti for my 4 year old gaming pc can i just slot it straight into the motherboard then im good to go?

No idea. Depends on your current specs, like case, PSU, motherboard.

As for your PSU, you'll have to take your case apart and look at what the PSU is.

For what type of case you have, that's dependent on what you remember from it. If it's a prebuilt PC, the case can be found if you link the model of the prebuilt. If it's not a prebuilt PC, some cases have a logo or company name that could help. Motherboard will help determine the size of the case because from there, it can be shown if it's micro ATX, mini ATX, Standard ATX, ect. Chances are, from there we can see if it'll fit your case, however if you know the exact case, that would be optimal if you are needing a PSU upgrade as well.
