Synopsis
How far can the worlds fastest hedgehog run?Play as Sonic the Hedgehog as you dash, jump and spin your way across stunning 3D environments. Swipe your way over and under challenging obstacles in this fast and frenzied endless running game for iPad, iPad mini, iPhone & iPod touch.

Gameplay
Sonic Dash is quite similar to Temple Run as players will run endlessly collecting coins as in this case, rings and rack up as many points as possible before colliding with an obstacle, and barriers which ends the run. Players can also gain points and increase the multiplier for each enemy killed and increases the point value by chaining up multiple enemies in succession. Before starting up a level, players are to enable three different types of boosters to aid them in the level. These boosters include the Spring Bonus which gives players a score bonus with every spring reached. An Enemy Combo which enables bonus points for each enemy defeated. A few other boosters are the Ring Streak, Final Score Bonus, and the Golden Badnik. Players can also earn red star rings which can be used to unlock other characters featured in many of the Sonic game series like Rouge, Cream, Silver, Blaze, Shadow, Amy, Knuckles, and Tails which could then be used by the player to play levels with instead of Sonic. Players also have missions to complete which requires players to reach a certain requirement on the level and are rewarded gold rings and red star rings. During a level, players will have to dodge obstacles like barriers of various types by either jumping over or rolling underneath them. Players will also notice Radnicks as they continue along the level, players can either defeat them by rolling over them or dodge them by either switching over to a different side of the path or jump over them. When players reach a certain part of the level, a boss battle is triggered in which players will have to dodge attacks from the boss for a short period of time before players will be able to take them out. Players can also earn daily rewards which the outcome becomes greater after each consecutive day. To complete these daily challenges, players must collect 4 puzzle pieces which can be collected from a level.

Graphics
The graphics in Sonic Dash are amazing in terms of fluidity and quality. The game itself seems to have that high definition quality to it which I found appealing and comfortable to experience. The gameplay overall was clean and moderate in a way that didn't seem too fast since the game has the player running the whole time. The details on each of every character in the game are nicely done and well textured. The array of colors used in the foreground and background of the game are greatly detailed and the balance of multiple bright colors gives a great overlook of the level. The design of the types of levels are unique and have some of their own features that aren't on the other levels, giving the game a bit more variety. The flowing water in the game looks remarkable and has that surreal look to it. Overall, the quality of the graphics are nothing to be displeased about as the quality looks clean and well detailed.

Controls
The controls are very simple and in fact, the only control players will perform is maneuvering the character from side to side, jumping and rolling. A quick swipe to the left or right side to switch over to said side. A swipe up to jump and a swipe down to perform a roll and go underneath an obstacle. That is basically all the player will be doing during the game. The controls are simple enough even for a young kid to easily understand the controls and have a smooth gameplay.
