Gameplay
In Jelly Splash, players will notice some similarities to other puzzle games like Pet Rescue Saga, Juice Cubes, and Candy Crush. Jelly Splash offers several different gametypes for players to participate in. Some of the gametypes are: Clear the Grey Slime, which basically contains Jelly Squares with the grey slime covering them. Only way to get rid of it is to match the jelly that has the slime in it. Another gametype which most of these puzzle games have is beat the assigned score for the level. Another gametype is Captured which is somewhat more difficult compared to other gametypes and is unique for its style. For this gametype, players will notice a jelly square with a number on it. What that means it that players have to match a certain number of jellies that is the same color as the jelly with the corresponding numbers. Until the number is depleted, the jelly will vanish and the level will be completed. For each gametype, players are given a set amount of moves to perform in order to beat the level. By failing to complete the level within the certain amount of moves, the player can either restart the level or purchase more moves. Unlike other games like these, in order to progress to the next location in the game, players would have to wait for a certain amount of time before proceeding. But Jelly Splash doesn't require that, but more like a certain amount of stars earned for completing each level in that area. To gain more stars, players would need to achieve a greater score on that level. Each level gradually increases in difficulty in which some levels will contain obstacles that block the player's route to connect the pieces of jelly together. If players find the level to hard to complete, there are power-ups for players to use to aid them on the level.

Graphics
The graphics are great in this game. The different pieces of jelly do in fact have facial movements in the eyes and make little sounds when the player matches them. The jellies come in multiple colors ranging from dark to light to balance out the color scheme. The background of the matching field is very basic and vague in terms of color, type of environment, and details. Details such as palm trees or shrubs act just like extras in the game to make the game look more alive in a way but isn't a letdown. Without it, the background wouldn't look pleasing to view. The background is mostly a sandy tan color during gameplay which looks really bland as they really is no other sort of colors to stand out to appeal better. The gameplay features have great clarity and the in-game text is also easy to read. Overall, the graphics are decent but does lack the superior features that would really bring out the game more to enjoy.

Controls
The control of the game is just the player's finger. The game really has no other set of controls for players to use at all. Any finger can work as long as the player can trace and connect the pieces of jelly together. If players have played games similar to the style of Jelly Splash, then this game is nothing new to the player. If the player is highly skilled or just weird, players can also use their toes to move and connect the pieces of jelly together. Overall, for this type of game, the controls are basic and similar to most games of the same genre.
