Make sure you have the latest firmware update installed for the board: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

You might also make sure your BIOS and USB controller driver are up to date.

I'm not aware of any BIOS settings that could affect whether the board is detected properly. The only other things you can try as far as I'm concerned are trying safe mode to make sure there is not a software issue, trying the board with another computer, and uninstalling it as a device in device manager (plug it back in with BIOS mode off and Windows should automatically configure it).

If you can't get it to work properly, talk to Corsair.

Thanks r00t , how would I uninstall the board as a device ?

Click the keyboard drop-down to see all the keyboard devices installed, right click on the one that is the K70 (if there are more than one you can just uninstall them all, they will automatically re-install when you connect them) and uninstall it. Make sure you plug it back in with BIOS mode off. I'm not sure why this would work, but I'm also not sure why a keyboard would need a BIOS mode. It makes me think that Windows installed the driver for the BIOS mode and does not recognize it in the other mode.
