Hey so it has been a few days now since my controller has been doing this it just makes my character on cod look up without me touching it. So basically the right thumbstick goes up by itself. I have had my xbox since day one and dropped it a few times :0 any solutions? thanks

Well maybe this can work. Buy a right analog stick on ebay, than when you recieve the right analog stick in the mail, open your controller, and replace the right analog stick. This method has worked with a couple of controllers that I have.

after awhile the inside of the joystick can get like dusty or other stuff can get in it so if you want you can take apart the controller and take a cotton swab and just rub the bottom of the joystick and the sensor but be careful it will break easily. I customize controllers and this happens a lot it is very common. You can buy a torq 6 screwdriver off like ebay or amazon or buy a new controller

sometimes controllers just get old and you gotta get new ones or you gotta fix them and its a lot cheaper to fix yourself but then again you can break it
