Depends what you're looking for. As of now ESO is ridden with gold spammers who are in MASSIVE force that can't even be comprehended, and they've actually gotten some evolution to their spam. It's much easier to ignore them though now, but even so somehow these people are creating accounts and putting out new spammers like you honestly couldn't possibly imagine. Ban waves are consistent, but internal errors can't be fixed via bans. There's a lot of bugs, but the number has been cut down dramatically. Being a Veteran Rank 1 (ESO has a prestige like system once you hit 50 you become Veteran Rank 1. Max now is VR10.) I've had enough experience to say, I regret it and don't.

I regret ESO and the purchase because Imperial Edition (i pre-ordered and played closed beta) now became an upgrade in it. I understand the issue with having a race, mount, and all exclusive to pre-orders, yes I still have my own better exclusive content from it...but still, there's flaws to everything. I just feel a complete under-minding of my own content because of it is all really though. Even so the upgrade content isn't really worth the 20 bucks. A horse that's practically free, the ability to get a fairly nice looking armor set being the Imperial ones, and the race's racials aren't bad at all. It just doesn't feel worth it anymore since it became an upgrade. Plus the game takes on an idiocy I can't fathom. Spoiler to this.... You single handedly kill Molag Bal the main bad guy in the game. Now that sounds badass, BUT this is played like Borderlands. Guess what happens next in borderlands? Well let's reroll the entire content but make it harder. Yes that happens. Literally speaking. I cannot stress how pittiful the main story line actually is. What's worse is that we didn't even have full access to this story line in the Betas because they didn't want to release it to us, and what they did release was bugged to hell at the time. In an MMO no game I can even think of does this, not Maple Story, not RuneScape, not Guild Wars, not even World of Warcraft EVER THOUGHT OF THIS. You are always the hero in a never ending war setting of the world. ESO destroyed that, I compare ESO's story line to that of BF4's online issues. It. Is. Pathetic. And. Should. Never. Have. Been. Released. It's an unfinished product. I did though however find some interest that once you've done the story line's main plot and "saved your soul and tamriel" god forbid you don't..... That you get to play in the other Alliance's zones. Kind of cool, but you don't get to choose which one you go to. AND if you hated questing and grinding before... OH GUESS WHAT JUST GOT SHIT LOADS LONGER! Want to go up 1-3% in your exp bar a quest? Well come play in the Veteran zones! How often will you see 2-3%? Never. Never. I've commanded my own armies to take Keeps and Castles in Cyrodiil's PvP, I've played in Veteran Dungeons, and got my crafting maxed out. I found ever spot for farming materials and more.... With my experience, I tell you it's not even near worth it. Most likely will never be worth it. I did love the aiming, targeting, healing, tanking, and crafting in the actual game though, very much so fun and entertaining, otherwise. P.O.S.

In short... Elder Scrolls Online IS NOT worth the purchase AT ALL. I personally don't think it ever will be.
