Game Information
Release Date: January 22, 2014
Creator: KPy30
Platforms: Windows
Genre: Adventure
Players: 1

Synopsis
Gather everything you need to perform the ritual, to clear an innocent soul from the defilement. You will not pass if you do not collect things for the ritual. Find a secret location in the game.

Gameplay
This game is somewhat similar to the many versions of Slenderman games. The player's main purpose is to collect these ritual items that are parts of a skeleton and stones. Upon collecting these items, players will be somewhat pursued by the evil spirit of the ritual that had been performed, whose purpose is to kill the player before the player manages to collect all the ritual pieces. Players will also have to avoid getting killed by the spirit when walking traveling through the dark and dense forest. The player will be defenseless against the evil spirit that pursues them, so their only tactic is to just run away. The game does feature jump scares that aren't too typical of the average horror game and has that right tone in the game that is sure to keep players on the edge of their seat. Players will investigate several cabin-like houses along the forest and travel through lakes to reach the items that are required. There are also little events that are triggered when reaching certain points in the game just to make the player feel a little uneasy.

Graphics
Upon starting out the first few minutes of playing, i was astonished on how well the graphics were made. The surrounding area of the forest looked so alive with the trees, bushes, shrubs all moving as if the wind or something is moving it. The water flows very nice and when entering the water, the player's screen becomes all blurred and murky due to the player being underwater. The materials used to build various structures like the staircases, handles, light post and other structures have excellent amounts of detail implemented on them. A closer look reveals the many lines, rigidness of the wood planks, and textures on them that really looks astonishing to look at and captures that realistic look. The small amount of light given off by the light post give off just the right brightness to reveal certain points of interests and doesn't shine too bright enlightening a huge area with light. The fog in the game really gives the game that eerie theme to it as it slowly moves through the forest and as the player travels. Overall, the graphics are phenomenal and brilliant, as well as being appealing to the eyes of the player.

Controls
The controls are somewhat similar to the Slender game variants. The basic move and look controls are relevant to the Slender games so if players have played them before, then they shouldn't have too much of a difficult to figure the controls out. A difference when playing is that the interact function isn't by just left-clicking on the mouse but rather pressing the F key to interact with objects. For new players that are looking to play this game could find it hard since the game doesn't include the controls so they are possibly other features the player can use and experience but are nothing really new to the average PC player. Overall, the controls are what players would expect for most games of the same genre and are really simple to understand after a few minutes playing.

You have recently been telling me to try this on here and xbox. The way the gameplay sounds it sounds fun and it would give a scare. I hated slenderman when I played it myself, it made me poop a little. Great review dude! Gonna have to try this sometime soon
