No. Get a Nexus 5 now. I have one and I love it. The reason your getting burn in on your Galaxy (Shit phones by the way) is because all Samsung devices use an AmoLED screen. LG devices (Nexus 5/Optimus G/etc) use IPS displays. These provide better viewing angles and better color reproduction, but less dark blacks.

Besides that, when you buy a Nexus product you pay less ($350 compared to the 5C's $549) You also get 2GB of RAM compared to 1GB, a slightly faster processor, and loads more freedom. On Android you can emulate anything from a Commodore 64 to a DOS BOX (To play Fallout games), to a N64, all the way up to a PSX and pretty soon a Xbox emulator will be released. Nexus or nothing.

Also, unlike your current phone you no longer have to wait for updates. As soon as Google pushes an Android update you will get it. You also will have the easiest phone to root/unlock and doing so will NOT void your warranty like every other device (besides Motorola).

If you have any more questions please ask. I have the Nexus 5 and can give you benchmarks, etc if you want them.

Oh yeah, the Nexus 5 also has a super sexy soft touch finish on the back. It can get you laid.

I know all about rooting and emulating, thats why i like android a bit better.
Im running 4.4.1 on my Galaxy s3 rn and it has sped up the phone by a lot since its only using 500mb of RAM.

Definitely get the Nexus 5 over the iPhone 5C. If you're going to get an iPhone get the 5S. The 5C looks so cheap while the 5S has a much higher build quality.

I would go with the Nexus, if you get an iPhone, go with the 5s.

If you want complete freedom of use with a device stick to android. Apple is for lazy *beeps* and people that don't know the real meaning of hacking. Click of a button now you are jail broken and you've already broke 3 copyright laws.
