10Mb/sec from your ISP is only around 1.25MB/sec anyway. ISP's sell download speeds in megabits not megabytes, there's 8 bits in a byte.

if there is many people downloading it at the same time it may be the download server for elder scrolls. It happened to be when i was downloading one of the BF4 updates.

If you're using a wireless connection I'd recommend switching to a wired one.

lets use our knowledge of computers to solve this. How many bits in a byte? There's 8! Now, if you pay for 80 megabits, then how many megabytes should you be getting? 10! You're getting exactly what you pay for which is 80 megabits per second, which can also be stated as 10 megabytes per second.

thats not what i asked, i asked why a phone has a higher priority over a pc and why the hell is a phone using 10 megabytes?

I think the question we should all ask ourselves is: "Will it blend?"
