EDIT: Do not tell me this is the wrong section as the xbox one has not came out yet, this is a question for those who got a PS4 from amazon so ill know whats going to occur when my next gen console ships
So im curious as to wether or not amazon ships the console the day before release to ensure release day delivery or do they ship exactly at 12:00. basically if you ordered from amazon, did you get your console on friday, and do you know wether or not it shipped the day before?
- The reason im asking is because i pre ordered the Xbox One Day One edition and i have release day shipping, but im worried because im leaving saturday to go to Virginia, and im just wondering if you got it on release.
So if you can answer my question please do and please do not hate on me for buying the xbox one it was my choice not yours.

They ship out as late as possible. My PS4 got shipped at 3:00 on Friday morning and I got it with UPS the same day. I think Sony and Microsoft probably pay Amazon extra money to keep the consoles from sneaking out early.
