Sypnosis
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is a direct continuation of Transformers: War for Cybertron. The Transformers are at civil war. Two factions, the Autobots and the Decepticons, vie over control of their home world, Cybertron.[6][10] The events of the previous game have left the planet unable to sustain life, and the Autobots, desperate to assure continued existence of the Transformer race, seek to flee the planet. The Decepticons, still bent on domination, will stop at nothing to assure that the Autobots either submit to the Decepticons, or are eliminated. Fall of Cybertron depicts the final battle between the two robot factions which results in the destruction of their home world, forcing the Autobots to seek refuge in our galaxy, the Milky Way.[11][12] The developer, High Moon Studios, hopes to show a darker tone than the original game. Game Informer's Matt Miller stated that the game "changes and improves upon so many of the fundamental ideas that the developer considers the game a natural successor rather than a true sequel."[10]

Story/Gameplay
Alright, if you have never seen a transformers movie (there are 3) I advise you to go watch AT LEAST one so you can have a little sense on how transformers work! The game takes place during a civil war on their home planet Cybertron and you try to help the Autobots (the good guys) defeat the Decepticons. Simple enough concept right? Yeah well if you've seen the movies, then this is the prequel before they escape to Earth. I can just say, this, even for being a teen game, has a great story and is action packed with many different types of feats that will be both cool and interesting!

The multiplayer is a great experience too! Somewhat like Battlefield 3, you have 4 different kits doing 4 different things. They transform differently (ranging from a jet to a little car). This gives you variation but also an equal winning capability!

Graphics

The graphics look very good for a game like this. I can compare these to Halo as being a revised looking Halo world. Seeing that these things aren't ACTUALLY real, they frankly can only do the best they can for making these graphics look as real as they can be. The sound effects are great, explosions seem real, and the world around you seems as if it's coming to life. Of course, don't get the game for the graphics, get it for the appeal it'll have on you!

Controls

Controls are very easy to use and, even though there is no thorough flat out tutorial, the game starts off with the first mission practicably teaching you how to play the game. Even so, controlling a huge machine in third person has never been easier. The controls in the multiplayer are the exact same so you won't have to learn a whole new format when playing it.

Rating:
Story: 9.5
Graphics:9
Controls:9
Lasting appeal:9.5
Overall rating:9.75- Pretty fun even if you're not a fan of Transformers!
