Game Information
Release date: July 6 2010
Developers: Ruffian Games
Publishers: Microsoft Game Studios
Genre: 3rd Person Action, Free Roam
Rating: 18+, M
Platform: Xbox 360

Synopsis(WIKI)
Crackdown 2 is a sandbox-style third-person shooter video game developed by Ruffian Games and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was released on Xbox 360 in July 2010[3][4] and is a direct sequel to the 2007 video game Crackdown.[5]

Story
Crackdown, if you haven't already guessed it, is a sequel to its predecssor "Crackdown" which made quite an impact on the gaming industry. Crackdown 2, does follow the predecessing game, in a somewhat sense. The story follows around 11 years after the original events in Pacific City. Years later, a scientist in the Agency is kicked out of the industry, as she was found to be performing dangerous experiments including infectious disease related materials, and highly toxic chemicals. After a short while of her riddance, she seeks revenge on the agency, claiming to seek vengeance. She develops a more sophisticated version of the resource she was producing in the agency, and releases it among Pacific City. As the civilians turn to misconfigured animals, it is up to you, as a peacekeeper to keep the job safe, along the way learning secrets and hidden things about the agency.

Graphics
The graphics in Crackdown 2 are what bring its score down the most. The game features some pretty poorly designed areas, buildings, and characters overall. The character structure is a bit robotic, and the camera movements are confusing, and can overwhelm you instantly. Buildings look like a somewhat older, less advanced version of the original Crackdown. The game features some pretty poorly designed characters. Although some characters include vivid colors, it looks like somewhat of a DLC for Crackdown. The scenarios is what boosts up this games scores. The scenarios are quite great, and rooftop climbing has never been so beautiful in a video game, ever before. The scenarios do stay within a metropolis range, and setting does not change very often.

Gameplay
The gameplay in Crackdown 2 does not have an entirely better score compared to its graphics. As said before, the main downfall in this game, is the fact that it is extremely repetitive. Plus, the fact that the repetitiveness continues in a familiar sense, linking back to the original Crackdown, does help prove its point. The game features basically the same features, areas, and familiarity to the game as it did in the first game. Crackdown 2 features some nice shooting though. The shooting, and explosions are very well made. The game does feature some new modes such as enhanced CO OP which really brings a new factor to the major gaming table. There are some areas that fault, including mission structure, but when it comes to free roam, Crackdown 2 does not dissapoint.

Reception
Crackdown 2 overall, received some rather negative scores and reviews. The game did extend the most in exploration wise, as almost all reviews praised the way free roam and exploration extended, which really did prosper, but the major downfall stated in this game was the repetitiveness. The game received a 7/10 from Gamespot, and from IGN, it received around a 6.5/10. The reception mainly praised its exploration and free roam, while criticizing its reptitiveness from the last game.

FINAL RATINGS:
Synopsis: 8
Story: 7.5
Graphics: 5
Gameplay: 6
Reception: 6
FINAL RATING: 6.1 - Fun Exploration, But Major flaws and Repetitiveness
