Game Information
Name: Cel Damage: Overdrive
Console(s): Playstation 2, Xbox, Gamecube
Type: Vehicle Combat
Developers: Pseudo Interactive
Publishers: Electronic Arts
Age rating: 3+ (Somehow)

Objective
The objective of Cel Damage: Overdrive is to either race against opponents and attack the other cars to try and reach the finish line first whatever way possible or to earn Smack Points to win. Smack Points are earned by dealing enough damage to other vehicles and whoever gets the most points by the end of the game wins. There is also a flag capture gamemode the catch being that the flags have legs and can walk.

Storyline:
The plot of the game is that a group of fictional cartoon characters are on TV and every week they fight one another in their cars to become the last car standing and win the show. Due to the fact that they are cartoons they cannot die.

Gameplay
The cars are easy to control even though the vehicles will not move if you try and use the analogue stick which can get annoying. There are many usable weapons which can be picked up in the game which include: boxing gloves, baseball bats, grenades, chain guns, lasers and the default gun which every car has which fires something unique to each player. There are 15 levels and seven playable characters.

Graphics
When this game first came out most reviewers said that the graphics were very good for a cartoon animated game and most people were pleased by the graphics. Nowadays they would not be classed as good though.

Evaluation
I enjoyed this game a lot but it was quite hard as the computer players were a bit over-powered. I also found that the weapon systems were a bit biases. It was an easy game if you were to just use the best weapon on every level. I would of suggested getting this game back when it was released but not anymore.

Ratings (Personal)
Gameplay: 6.5/10
