Synopsis

Find yourself back in the driver's seat in Stuntman: Ignition as you perfectly execute a variety of reckless moves. Taking the role of the Hollywood stunt driver, you must complete death-defying stunts on courses including Aftershock, Kill, and Chaser to earn money and unlock new missions. Using 25 vehicles, work your way 36 stunt runs by completing dangerous tricks for action films, commercial shoots, and tournaments. Outside of the action, you can create your own tracks filled with dangerous displays of driving and then trade them with friends online. You may also connect to the Internet and challenge friends through several competitive multiplayer options.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Stuntman is ridiculously hectic and so enjoyable. In the gameplay you can complete various missions and side missions in the game and you can also roam around endlessly trying to find collectibles hidden around the map. The missions in Stuntman aren't that difficult to complete just as long as you have a good form of transportation to get you there quickly. Most of the missions have to be done under a time limit but this shouldn't be a problem for you if you're rocking a sweet speedy car. Some other missions require you to pull off a certain stunts in your vehicle to complete the directors orders to move on. You can also combine various stunts together to build up your multiplier and pass the level with ease. The levels progressively get difficult so it may take you quite a lot of tries before you end up completing the level. However, all the missions that are available to you in the game are thrilling and exuberant. The reckless driving in the game is adrenaline rushing and having the ability to pull off really cool stunts in all sorts of vehicles is always fun. There are various vehicles that you can drive around the city and a few are as follows. Motorbike, Chopper Bike, Regular Car, Race Car and Trucks. These are all capable of doing different stunts in different areas so it would be good idea to check them out when you get the chance. Although this game is quite old it's still a huge amount of fun to play to this date.

Graphics

The graphics in Stuntman : Ignition are exciting and even in Standard Definition the graphics are quite clear. The explosions and mayhem that you create around the city look sweet and I can honestly say that they will give you that rebellious feel when you do it for the first time. Blowing things up and seeing them fly high into the sky is exciting and the recklessness of the game is amazing. Cars look amazing and they did a great job on replicating various vehicles that are around today so it's pretty easy to notice which type of car you're driving. Drifting and skidding look realistic and look as if you are actually doing it in real life to some extent. Crashing and totalling your car looks realistic as well depending on the impact of the crash with a barrier or a driver around you. I put vibration on as well so that I could get a feel for when I was in a massive collision and this was a great effect. The scenery and environments that you drive recklessly around look stunning and you can tell that the developers have taken a lot of time to perfect these areas. They have done an amazing job in the graphics portion of the game and I'm certain that they looks even more visually stunning in High Definition which I haven't been able to experience yet.

Overall, this game has amazing capabilities and the missions are awesome. The game also comes with multiplayer compatibility which is pretty decent however it's nothing special. You pretty much just race people from around the world and you can also compete in various stunt tournaments which is okay in my opinion. This game can be found on Games on Demand for around $14.99 and can be picked up for PS3 at the equivalent.

Game Rating : 8/10 (Gameplay is loads of fun as you blow up, drive recklessly and compete against others, graphics are well developed and are pleasurable to look at and the controls are very easy and quick to learn)

I bought this game a while back, I've only played it like twice. I don't know why, but I hated it.
