Synopsis

Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a tactical first-person shooter for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and the second installment of the Sniper:-series. It was released on June 24, 2010 for Microsoft Windows via Steam with the Xbox 360 version released on June 29, 2010 and the PlayStation 3 version on April 28, 2011. The game is based around the role of the military sniper, which the developer has noted that the public interest of which has increased thanks in large parts to shows on channels like the History Channel or the Military Channel. The game's objective is to insert players into the role of an elite sniper team sent into a hostile area in an attempt to help the rebels of Isla Trueno, a fictitious Latin American country, fight against the force who has toppled their government in a coup d'tat. A sequel, titled Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was announced to be in development and is expected to be released sometime in 2012.

Gameplay/Graphics

Being a hunter myself I use sniper rifles all the time, and if I was to join the military I would either be in the airforce or a marine scout sniper. This is one of the most realistic first person shooting games ive ever played and this IS the best sniper games ive played. I could play this game over and over so the replay rate is really high. The graphics are AMAZING the only thing I dont like is when you kill people its not to realistic, besides this I would highly advise people to buy this game youll fall in love

Problems for American buyers

Myself being a american I could not find this game in any retail stores in my area. Ive also talked to some of my UK friends and they told me they only sell it in EU, the only way to get it is to buy it on ebay but shipping can be a pain because international stuff always gets lost and costs alot. My ultimate decision was to just download a ISO of the game and play on my jtag, the only thing wrong with this is that I cant play multiplayer so I will not do a review on multiplayer.

Multiplayer

Like I said in the section before being a american I have to play off of my jtag to advoid international shipping. So if any user has played the multiplayer of this game please post as a comment below and I will use it if its good (I will check for copy and paste), you will also recieve full credit. Im doing this because I dont see it fit to review a part of the game ive yet to play yet.
