Gboot is fake here is the proof
This news is intended to clarify the situation regarding the launch of a hacked kernel to the console operator of the Reset Glitch Hack gligli and Tiros. You could see on most news sites hack, a news item announcing the upcoming release of Gboot, "a reboot for Reset Glitch Hack," as they call it.
It will be clear: it is a fake full for this reason that we have not released information. To start a kernel on the console glitches hacked, there is no need for a reboot. On JTAG, at startup, the console uses the hacked kernel 4532 (King Kong exploit) to start XeLL. From there, to boot a newer kernel as 13599 for example, you need to reboot ... hence the name to reboot. With the Reset Glitch Hack is totally different, XeLL the hack comes so early that no matter the kernel of the console, the hack will work (the CB_A can not be removed) ... there is no need to reboot but simply to boot. To start a kernel with the hacked MS Reset Glitch Hack, should only patch the HV and bootloaders to boot the console. For those desiring more information, here are the explanations of Fallen93 posted on XBH:
Ok so you use the glitch to bypass CB_A check hack, patch CB_B (if present), CD, CF and your good, I do not see What your missing here? No keys are required ms if you patch the RSA/SHA1 checks out. The checks are extreamly too trivial to patch out. CD IS NOT THIS IS the kernel, CD Is Just What unpack the kernel checks for Any patch if slots They Are and Their Corresponding loads present CF slot. Also never touches the kernel of the bootloaders Any DURING the boot process, so no patches are required to get it to boot. Once CD Makes the jump to the reset vector hv, your bootloaders are never touched again. Keep in mind we are not just booting rebooting we are!
In short, to return to Gboot, already at the terminology as explained just before, it does not use the right ... enough to cast serious doubt on their understanding of the hack and their ability to carry out what they say. Then for irreducible believers of all that is said on net, they say get to boot a game .. but from the start, a game makes use of system functions for loading profiles, backup menu guide etc ... so it will not work if there is no hacked kernel that goes behind. You will say in their statement, they refer to a hacked kernel ... if they can make it work on the console, why do they not engage directly? Also, they explain to launch a file from xenon.elf Xell that can then boot the game, yet this is not possible now ... you can not run code from Microsoft XeLL. You understood (or not), technical level, their explanations do not take the road too.
It is also interesting to look at the journey's tracking information to be found on all major sites hack. It all started with IRC where guys have posted a file pastbin in many chan. Members of the Russian site Hackfaq then back the info and have posted on their website. From there, to understand the Russian is not always easy (and google does not really trad), English and French sites have reported the information saying it was the site team who worked above, the same who made the "Russian Unlock Tool". Now everyone believes that the Russian working hard on it (lol). Well, the admin hackfaq still has clarified the situation and said that it was indeed a pastbin found on IRC ...

We'll end this article looking towards the future because that's what most of you are waiting ... "This is for when the freeboot the RGH?". First of all, you should know that this hack has made gligli to revive the scene and free60 libXenon ... it does not promote piracy. After, you should know that the xbox scene, it's still a small world and everybody knows ... and so, for now, developers or XBR FbBuild respect the will of gligli. Especially since the Jtag hack was a bit the same. tmbinc was made to launch the free code ... it is disapointing, but idk if anyone is stepping up to the plate to develop a way to get to the "xbox 360 dashboard"
we are all awaiting the amazing news that you can get to the dash and run xex menu, but i do not know if it is going to happen in the near future
gligli did his job, we can now get our keys, and have the tools Necessary to make an updflash.bin (cpu key), but we don't have the necessary images to write to consoles (that use the reset glitch)
o well, we'll all keep waiting and leeching

Bad - It's fake obviously.
Good - This new info can be used by people who know what they are doing to try and get things working faster, and / or help people who are already working on it move along faster.

This sucks horribly I have been waiting for this as soon as it came out because my xbox is banned and I want something to do with it other than play burnt games.

The bit about how it "doesn't meet needs" Is the best way I have seen it put.
We all remember the whole thing with Mr Hotz, and no one wants to see the same happen all over again, so the fact that it is currently unable to run pirated games/software, is probably a good thing.
As stated above, there is no reason to need a dash, JTAG's are still more than capable.

I was hoping to see the libxenon scene take off but it seems people are more interested in a rebooter instead of working with what they have.
