If you are so stuck for not taking responsibility for your own actions, make the person who made you get lost pay the fine. I can easily tell you are new to driving.

I had a problem associated with this before. I was driving in Cali for summer vacation and when on a road that had signs stating that it was a toll road but never had a toll where I got on it. I passed a camera and it took them two weeks to send the fine, and by this time I was already home. I got a fine in me mail for almost $1,000 because I hadn't "paid" for it and needed to go to court. I disputed the hell out of it and the end result was them saying "Well we guess you're not from around here so we will drop it."

I've been driving 2 years I'm not new. I just don't take the parkway often.

Tolls are only there because the roads cost money to build. Who cares about losing a few bucks, at least you won't make this mistake again!

That sucks I would personally ask the person who lead me in the wrong direction to pay up. It's not the tolls fault that you took the wrong turn though.

i guess it wasn't your fault but as one of the users stated above you should make the person who made you get lost pay for it.
