What is the benefits of having a dayz standalone server

Depending on what you purchase you have the ability to kick, ban, add a white-list, custom name, ect. Those are just a few of the benefits of owning a server, nothing to crazy.

Renting a server is not worth if for DayZ
You barely get anything from it.

Oh cool, you can kick someone. but you cant edit anything.

Stuff you cant do until they release private hive files in near future:
Edit loot spawns
Edit spawns
Add mods
Customize loadouts
Custom Admintools (infistar, etc)
and more

But DayZ is not even fun to play atm
Mainly because once you've obtained all the loot you need, whats next? nothing, no npc bases to raid, no custom missions to do. no traders. etc
