You aren't in the wrong at all. She's not interested in him so he shouldn't be holding one of his boys back because he's bent out of shape cause he got rejected. Your friend is being soft and selfish so if he wants to get bent out of shape over a girl that he has one sided affection over then let it blow over. If you guys are really good friends this will just be some dumb little bump.

Tell your friend to stop being shy if he wants to be noticed by girls he's interested in, it won't get him far.

Veksro wrote Update: I've talked with my friend and he does understand that she isn't into him.
He said that I should go with her because I won't find a girl like her anymore, lol.
So I'm probably gonna date her but I am gonna feel bad for him, for sure.

Really **** up, he said that because he cares about you, don't rub the salt in the wounds. Every time he sees you together he will feel sad. In my honest opinion I do not think you both are genuine friends, the fact that you actually considered not being friends with him before you talked to him is proof enough.
