So a little context before you guys give me your opinions/advice lol. So I live in Canada & it snows..... a lot sometimes. Not like LA or Florida where its always sunny and nice haha. I've always loved muscle cars especially the Dodge Challenger, but I also have a thing for Jeep Wranglers. I have a little money saved on the side to modify my chosen car. The problem is that if I get the challenger I would hate to drive that in the snow even with snow tires on. On the other hand the Jeep can power through that, but doesn't have the same power & awesome sound as the Challenger. So I'm basically stuck.

I am not sure about the challenger but I have heard bad things about the new jeeps. Just problem after problem. From electrical, to water leaking to early engine failure.
One of my friends has an older jeep and she said its fine and has had it almost 3 years now.
Try to find some consumer reviews on them and find out what the negative to each car is.

if you have some good snow tires or even studs then you'll be fine with the challenger

That's a lot of money to be spending on a first whip mang.
I'd be looking at used Subaru's if i were in your position.

When you're driving in potential dangerous situations, it always come down to function > form. I'd get the jeep. 100% do not get those tires though lol. They will last you about 20k miles on the road and sound like an airplane a mile away. Past that, the Jeeps look nice, and they are proven off road capable. I also love the fact that Jeep stuck with the solid axle front ends (easier to work on or replace if it breaks). Where I think the Jeep lacks is the ride. It is a little rough of a ride, but not too bad.

dont get a new jeep, The V6 suck you got to get one of the inline 6's. If you want the power of a challenger and the 4x4 of the jeep get ram srt10 since it looks like you have a big budget

If we are looking at trucks look into the Ford Raptor (09-14, not the new ones coming in 2017). You can get a 6.2L engine making 411 HP. They look nice, have tons of power, and are build off road ready from the factory. You could also look into the Ram Rebel, you can choose a V6 or V8, they max out at 395 HP, and start at about 2k cheaper than the Raptor, and get a lot better MPG than the raptor (basing with the 3.6L V6 vs the 6.2L V8). I could go more in depth on the Rebel if you want, but pretty much all the Italians did to the truck was make it more aesthetically pleasing. Ford made a truck built to be beaten and abused.

I was thinking the same, I'd go with the Jeep if I were in your situation, but that's just me.
I just picked up a winter hoopty for myself because I live in PA and it snows pretty bad for a lot of the winter, so I went with an AWD Subaru.
Personally, if I were you, I'd be looking at AWD Subarus or Audis, but that's just my two cents.

Yeah, looked into both trucks. They both look pretty good & has the power. Great recommendation man! hmmm...
