So i have a tendency of picking up all the weapons except combatweapons and common pistols.
I always end up overcarrying.
How do you guys manage your weapons.
Do you pick up all the weapons or do you just use certain weapons?
Also, most time i have to pick up a weapon i already have for ammo and then drop it, is there a waybpassed that where you dont have to pick up the weapon for ammo?

I use my companion to hoard all the 10mm pistols and such I find when scavving, and I only take the weapons I need/use. I also take some buffout with me in case I need a small temporary increase in carry weight. Apart from that once both me and my companion are at max carry capacity I just make trips to a Market or home if there is anything I wish to store, eg junk or special weapons/Armour.

Yeah im the same, i tend to carry 4/5 weapons i use regular, all different ammo types, 1 Laser rifle, 1 plasma rifle, 1 10mm pistol (deliverer) 1 .45 Heavy combat rifle, 1 .308 Sniper and 1.50 sniper is what i carry oh and i forgot 1 custom ,44 revolver that i have at around 140 ish dmg now.
the more varied the weapons means you dont wear down 1 ammo pool too much also chaning ammo types for different enemies is good too. so things like Synths Laser and Plasma seem to be better, Robots Bullets or plasma seem to be good, any flesh its kinda up to you so raiders / super muts pretty much anything, but the radiaton based weapons do less dmg to super muts.
