Alrighty, when I first got my laptop, this 29.82GB drive (SSD?) was "activated" and was doing something, I don't know what though, but it was doing something. Check the red rectangle in spoiler below.

A while later I restored my laptop and bla bla bla I formatted my main HDD as well as that one. Ever since, I wondered what was its purpose and how would I "reactivate" it for it to be useful again.

I usually never get any replies when I make topics like these. I end up deleting the topic a day or two later.

Anyway, anyone got any thoughts? I'll post PC specs if necessary.

Cheers!

could have been a hell of a lot of system reserved storage
or a partition for the system itself.
i'm not 100% sure

Right click the unallocated space, and make a partition. That way you can actually use the space, instead of letting it sit there doing nothing.

If it was system reserved storage, it wouldn't be unallocated space.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

Yeah, I'll probably just use it as extra storage. Not quite sure for what yet, but I'll think of something.
