I loved High School. Well sports wise. lol.
Played Varsity Tennis for 3 years, won Districts twice for team tennis and once for doubles, and got 4th place at Regionals for team.

I did my classwork and got out.
Almost went to college for Tennis but $40,000/year at a D3 school just did not add up.

Some college stuff:
I then went to a junior college for one semester. Hated it. Then moved in with some friends back in my hometown. Spent the next semester at the same college just doing online courses and man that was a great decision. It felt easier to not have to wake up at 7am and get to class. Just wake up and walk to my computer at any time of the day, although it did cause some head trauma if I got behind. I did stop doing that though. Got a job and time got hard to balance waking up at 2:30am to get home around 11 and classes that I had to start at 10 to finish by 4 or so.

Spending 5 years in school, then 2 years in college then getting a job working at a school less than half a year of leaving college, my experience has been quite strange and unique

When I work, I remember all the bad times that I had at school. But then, I have these great memories where I see students doing what I used to do.

Personally, enjoy school. Its a time to be free and yourself. Dont be me and regret your time at school. Your teenage years are probably the most important in terms of molding who you will be in later life.

High school is what you make of it. Just have to learn not to care about the petty opinions of others. No one talked to me, at my last high school. I went to three different schools though so it made it easier on me. I love to learn, so it was good times.

Currently a senior in HS. My high school experience wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I couldn't really find a group a friends that had the same interests as me without all the other bullshit like drinking/smoking.

High school is basically what you make out of it. If you're outgoing and join clubs or stuff, you'll have a better experience I think.

I as well was not exactly deemed 'popular' got a few irritating pricks sometimes over the years. So does everyone, after school everything evens out. Still some people can be annoying now and then but it's still better.

there's a lot of things i wish i could go back and change, actions, thoughts, which would make things so much different today but regardless high school shaped me into the man i am today. as much as i hated it i regret not putting in my full effort and the people i went to school with I wish i were back starting high school again.

i have been through some tough times at my old high school as my grades were no where near good enough but i was above everyone in computing.
I have joined a new school and on my first day i was approached by a group of boy that made a comment that im not going to repeat. I then replied and they tried to spread a rumor that i was racist to one of them.
Oh did i put a stop to that shit quick, a nice little punch in the face to one of them stopped that very fast and now most people respect me.

The only thing I miss about high school is homecoming week.
