One other thing you can do is check to make sure you're using your closest download server in the program you are using (for example Steam lets you choose which server you can download from) and you can choose your closest server do it downloads quicker. However you haven't said whether the download is through the xbox marketplace, Steam, Origin ect, so I don't know if it will have that option.

Other than that, you can call up your ISP and get a faster package if they offer one, however this won't be instant, will cost you more money and will be more for the long term, not for the short term.

Steam usually defaults to your local server, but you can mess around with it and see if any are faster.

Go to: Steam>Settings>Downloads then you can change your download region, for example mine is set on London and it tends to be faster when set to London despite me living closer to Manchester. Not sure why.

In the box you would of got a wire they are both the same on each end, it plugs into the wifi box and the sky box, just take it out the back of the sky box and put in back of your xbox

Make sure your router is not far from your console the more walls there is between your console and the router the slower the connection will be. Make sure you don't have any electronics on near the router as it will slow down the connection. Make sure the router is high off the ground, you don't want the router waves to be going down on the ground. If your router has two antennas leave one up and the other to the right

Wired connection, Only use the device you need to download stuff.

If you want to wire your connection then you need to use this cable. it may have come in a different colour.
