Well these type of films have to be my favorite and I've seen quite a bit. Suggest some from netflix or wherever you know there are some.

I've seen majority on netflix, but you can throw them out there. If you give me one I haven't I'll give you rep.

Start there and let me know if you need other recommendations. Most that are listed are not that well known.

I've seen some of those I believe, but the others I'll be sure to watch!

I probably should have added, my taste is modern day army/war movies.

The best war film must be Fury, i'm not sure if it's on netflix but it's worth watching.

'I am soldier' is a good one to watch. All about the process of joining the SAS.

I agree with Fury, you have to get your hands on that.
Child 44 was a good within a war movie, same with Little Boy. Doubt these are on Netflix being that they were practically just released, so maybe along the lines of Valkyrie or Inglorious Bastards? Great movies that you can watch over and over!

Number 1 for me,
Black Hawk Down

Apocalypse Now
The Way Back
Crimson Tide
Tears of the Sun
We Were Soldiers
M*A*S*H
The Hurt Locker
American Sniper
Green zone
JarHead

I love war films, me personally I did not like "Fury"
It was long and too slow and not realistic enough for me.
