I would have to say my favorite would be RE4.

My second would actually be RE6 just because it was awesome to play as Chris and Leon in one game.

Resident Evil 4 is the best, with Resident Evil 6 coming in a close second.
Resident Evil 4 was ahead of its time in my opinion, the way the game felt, and how many hours you could be sucked into it made it an amazing game. I personally even believed the game had and "end game" set up, which was never before seen in a RE game before RE4. If you've never played any of the games in the series, I recommend starting with RE4, and if you find you enjoy it just progress on with RE5, and RE6. I look forward to Resident Evil games releasing over any COD game.

RESI 1 is the best, you can get the remastered version on 360 but the whole atmosphere of it was good a sense of claustrophobia and limited ammo made the game soooo good

Maybe because it brings back memories of my friend that now moved away for college, we played a lot of co-op

RE2 was THE best game IMO. I had so much fun with that game I had the two disc set...ahh memories. I really really hope Capcom remasters RE2 I would buy that shit in a heartbeat.
