They've added it to try and stop hackers from pretty much stealing the other persons money in their steam account so I doubt they will remove it, It's not to bad if you are going to be playing with the skins but I understand if you wanted to bet them. I wish I could bet but csgolounge really hates me and wont let me for some reason...

take your profile off private. On steam hover over your name go Inventory-More-Inventory Privacy Settings and where it says inventory put it as Public.

It is on public it still wont let me for some reason, It says that a bot will send me a trade offer and then it just disappears.

I would at least want it to be like 3 days or 1 day but 7 days is ridiculous.

This is mainly to stop people, Scamming,Hacking and things like that. It's the same with if you trade with someone you(or them) have to confirm it via E-mail. I think its a good thing but i do think they should lower it to like 3days.

Its a good measure, but ill have to follow everyone else and say it needs lowering.
Maybe to about 48 hours, same with when you clear your browser and it says there's a new browser, wait up to 7 days for clearance, etc. Client does the same thing.

Are you in a game when they are trying to trade with you? Because the problem you are having used to happen to me, make sure you are completely out of the game before placing a bet.
