So this year I'm in year 11. This is where the learning gets serious in Australia and I'm doing VCE which is a scored way of school meaning we get an A-TAR which decides on what pathways we can undertake when we leave school and I'm not sure with one of my subjects which being Psychology. I'm fascinated by human behaviour (English spelling) because I love learning on why people act and say the things they say and I'm also very good with interpreting that sort of stuff and I thought that this subject would be for me and I thought it'd have to do with Forensic Psychology not Visual Perception (which is what we're learning now) I know all about it and it's somewhat interesting but it's not what I want to waste my time doing. I wanted to do this subject so bad and now it has been blown back in my face by the topics we cover and how uninteresting they are and how I don't find them to be benefiting my learning. I'm just asking you guys on what you would do? I can ask my school to have a meeting with my parents and I to discuss a subject change and I'm possibly thinking legal studies as I'm interested in Law or possibly a science aspect yet again (science subject for another science subject). If this helps you in anyway I'm currently in these classes;
-Biology
-Psychology
-Economics
-RE
-Mathematics (General)
-English
-IT

I'd like to see what you guys would do... I want to do Marine Botany or Zoologist when I leave school which I know will require further schooling. So what subject would you trade out for Psychology? And would you carry on with it or try to get a subject change into possibly another subject.

Thanks for reading, can't wait to hear what you have to say...

I did chemistry last year and it was a very fun class. The semester is mostly concepts while the second semester is mostly equations and formulas. I very much enjoyed the labs we did in class. If you enjoy science I would definitely recommend taking chemistry.

I did physics in year 11 and dropped it year 12. It was a mistake because I loved it. Physics is really hard but its by far the most interesting science you can take followed by chemistry.
