I was thinking about case-modding my xbox
I'm not sure if you saw the post someone did a while back for their sister
But that got me thinking

I want to cut out a couple words/company names and put a piece of plexiglass behind it
I'd probably put a TTG logo on there somewhere too

I need help on a couple things!
I need ideas to cut into it and the best way to start?

I know using a saw to get it started them a dremmel to clean it up
Any other idea to make it look better?
Id also like to stickerbomb the parts that are not cut out

If you have any insight on the topic you think I could use please post here or PM me

I wouldn't use a saw. Just buy the reinforced cutting wheels that go on the dremel, they're black, Your cutting job will look very messy at this stage, but don't worry once you sand it will look neat!

Then use the sanding "wheel" dremel tool to rough sand the edges to your liking, the edges will look much better, but are still going to be uneven.

Then grab some 400 grit sandpaper and go over your cuts. Then once you've hit it with 400grit sandpaper, move to 600 and do the same, then 800 grit.
(I usually do 400, 800, 1000. Simply because I like my edges to be super smooth.)

Then turn the shell over, and use your dremel to sand down all the little "pegs" and other plastic that is going to get in the way of the plexiglass.

Once that's done, Just cut a piece of plexiglass and place it to your liking, and add hotglue.

I plan on making a tutorial of this soon on my Youtube channel, you can check out my other videos if you'd like. I have a tutorial you might like, its on how to add LEDs to your Xbox 360 phat Hard drive. Don't know if you have a phat or not, but its worth a shot.

I do have a phat that's why I'm modding it, so much room LOL

I'd love to see that tut cuz I was thinking about doing LEDs in the xbox so LEDs in the hard drive would be pretty sick too
Please post that tutorial for the HDD LEDs
