Hello TTG,
I know that some of you have beaten it on hard and haven't seen it drop, well there is a reason for that. To get the Crux of Crota, you MUST have not beaten the raid on normal prior to beating it on Hard, meaning don't beat it on normal then beat it on hard and expect to get the Crux, you also must have Glowhoo shader in your inventory (doesn't need to be equipped). As long as you do this, you'll have a chance to receive it. (THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE).

This isn't a how to if its not guaranteed.. it's called a coincidence. It is a RANDOM loot drop there is no way to increase the chance of it dropping. (Unless Bungie clearly says there is a way)
