I have been uploading 60 FPS videos from my PC, i use Raptr Game Recording. It records games in 60 fps, 1080p. The format it puts it in is MP4, every setting is maximum to assure best quality.
So whenever I upload, say yesterday for example, a 5GB file of an 8 min video, it took up to 20 minutes to upload. Fair enough, the processing though, it sat there for at least over an hour on 0%, then it jumps to 100%.
I understand that this is probably due to the file format, but I do not understand what it is within it to make it do this. It also takes a while to put up the other resolutions on Youtube, but I am not worried about that.
Any solutions besides use a different game recorder?
Because this is the best recorder that I've ever seen and im not going to a different one that'll give me worse quality and more memory used.

i used to have a massive file for my videos then i found a way to shrink the file size u get like a video converter and place the video into it and convert it to the same format and settings it used to go from like 5GB files to 400mb upload times where nothing then

Doubt size affects the processing speed.. Or at least it shouldn't, not to the extent of an hour.

Do you render your videos? Because exporting it will reduce the size dramatically.

No I meant rendering them decreases the file size by a ton. I thought you'd maybe use a video editor to finish up your videos. If you don't then I guess you'll just have to wait out the process time like you're doing already.

I'd Suggest Looking Up Tutorials If You're Clueless With It, Whatever You Want To Do, You Tube It.
If Sony Vegas Is Still To Advanced For You Try Getting A Different Editing Software, I personally Use Corel Video Studios Pro X7 But That Does Cost Money (not sure what your price range is) But If You Just Want To Render Videos Get Windows Live Movie Maker For Free And Click Render For YouTube

I would really consider getting an application such as Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere Pro to render your videos instead of just uploading them directly, this will also give you a chance to edit the video more thoroughly. I won't tell you were to get the applications if you don't want to pay for them, I will say that it's far too easy to get around the measures to prevent illegal copies. Or you could just use the trial version and see if you like it.
If you are wondering about settings, use the highest bitrate possible without making the file size pointlessly big and keep your framerates and resolutions matching the source footage, meaning if you record in 1080p at 60fps, render the video with a resolution of 1920x1080 and a framerate of 60fps. Play around with it and see what suits you best.

The file size of your video is the primary reason why it's taking long to process/upload. Render your files to reduce the size of the file.
