I know that I can save 100-200 dollars building a PC, but how good do you have to be at building it?

Thanks TTG members!

It's not hard, just read instructions carefully. You can also search on YouTube how to install certain components.

When buying a motherboard, buy it as a bundle, so that way, you will have the CPU, RAM and CPU fan installed already.

It is basically Lego with expensive components. Everything will only fit in one way so it is really hard to mess it up.

Over the weekend, I striped down my PC, cleaned it all and put it all back in 4 hours. For me, its not that hard.

My tip would be to watch some YT videos and you shall be golden

Everything is pretty much labelled and there are hundreds of video tutorials showing you how. Just make sure you get the right parts that fit together for example am3 CPU's like amd fx will require an am3 or am3+ motherboard.

Not hard at all, as you probably know we have a good search function on the sidebar of this site which you can use to see if people have asked the same questions as you have.

A thread I created a while back may help when you choose your components: Forums/t=6768415/buxtyys-chipset-guide.html

Building a PC for your first time is very easy, I built mine a few years ago following a few youtube tutorials. There is enough information out there that whenever I got stuck with a part and had no idea where it went I was able to find the answer within minutes using Google. When building your PC make sure you take your time and aren't rushed.

This is the main tutorial that I followed

It is pretty easy. Just follow a few tutorials on the internet and you should be fine. Best way I can describe building a PC is like adult Lego
