So for Christmas I'm going to be getting the latest iMac from Apple for graphics, web and music production. I'm only using it to do work and produce music as I can get it really cheap. Does anyone here have it and let me know what's good and what's bad about it?

Yeah there is a few things wrong with it.

1. It's a iMac

If you're gonna have your parents spend a few grand on a n iMac for Graphics and Music just build a "hackintosh" of just get a really beefed up PC for the same price that's way better.

I have a PC for everything I use but I, MYSELF have the money to buy one as my sister's friend can get me one cheap. My PC I have now I only want to use for gaming.

As I mentioned I want an iMac for music production and the software I want to use isn't available on Windows.

Ignorance.

The OP has stated that it will be bought really cheap and just because it's from Apple that means it's bad? No.

For Music Production an iMac will still be fine, You have garage band and you can also get FL Studio to make beats. an iMac has a lot of professional apps so if you're using it as business wise it should be fine. If you ever run into a problem where you need Windows, you can just use a Windows 7 or Windows 8 disc and use Boot Camp to make a Virtual Machine on your iMac

Thanks. Well I use FL Studio on my Windows computer now, but I'm wanting to use Logic Pro as it fits my needs more. I will have my current PC next to it for gaming or anything else Windows related. Business related things will be on the mac so thanks.
