I was bored today, so I decided to create a business style web design, and this is what I came up with... I have made a live version as well, and it is just a dummy site. Its still a work in progress, but I think its good for my first ever coded site... Took a few hours to custom code. The page links dont work yet as I haven't created them yet, but they aren't they will be once Im finished.

Personally I dont like when the image is the main focus yet contains nothing to do with the page.

It's good for your first ever coded site.
I think you should centralize 'POWERFUL AND PROFESSIONAL FORUM SKINS!' and 'Beautiful Themes, Ready When You Are' because it looks off.

I kind of like it, but there's a few flaws. Or things I personally dislike.

I don't like the logo in the upper left corner.

I don't like the background picture.
It looks low quality to me, and the car seems to be right in the way.

When you scroll all the way down, you're only half way through the banner thing up top.
It looks weird, and kind of annoying.
You should make that lower section a whole page, or at least 3/4.

A fixed header would look great on that design buddy. Love it.

apart from the fact is doesn't work on small screens like at all even zooming out ruins something else, i would say you needs to look at responsiveness

also dont float elements that you are trying to align, with them I would run them on a

display: inline;

or

display: inline-block;

that should allow them to sit together and not float therefore won't look weird on larger screens or smaller screens,

I don't know an awful lot from a coding point of view (however I know that it is hard) but, I know a lot about design and I feel that instead of a banner that somewhat actively moves with scrolling, I feel a stationary banner would look much better.

Also, the double "n" in that logo drives me crazy.
