So I just got the 250mbps internet, and only getting 60-70 wired. So I'm mad and a start chatting with someone. The chat box doesn't work so I just exited it out and was about to call them. But hang on a second, they called me and wouldn't stop. I couldn't understand a word she was saying and I told her that I can't and hung up. She called me about 5-8 more times after that and then she finally said "you have to shut off your computer so i can help the next person" which makes NO SENSE, so i did and told her so I hung up as I'm very "angry". Then she calls back saying I'm still on her computer so I said shut your own computer off its not my problem stop calling in a "nice voice". Trying to still be nice. Just awaiting the next call from her. They said there customer service got better and it got worse. Worst decision ever to go back to them. That is the nicest way I could say it, if you're interested in getting comcast for anything dont. Haven't had it 6 hours and I'm already pissed at them.

You're lucky you get 60-70mbps, that's pretty good speed. I on the other hand have about 12mbps which is ridiculous compared to your speed.

Whenever I have to contact support for my problems they are usually helpful, you might get the occasional "unskilled" support member but that's just rare for me.

Good luck on getting 250mbps m8ty.

I feel that you got one of the bad apples out of the bunch.

Some of my friends have Comcast and have never had any problems out of their support from them.

Good luck on getting your 250MBS worked out man!

Customer support doesn't always have the most "intelligent" or "willing to help" it sounds like you were unlucky and got one of the less experienced members. Whenever I call I try to be as nice as I can to them but they usually are very depressed sounding. I don't understand why they would be hired but not want to do their job.

Comcast is horrible, never bring your business to a monopoly and expect good service.

There advertising there download speed in megabits not megabytes, this is why you are getting less than the advertised amount. I just did a quick conversion of 250 megabits to megabytes and you should be getting 31 megabytes per second so you are actually getting more than the advertised amount.

regarding there support:
If I kept getting calls from a comcast agent saying to shut off my computer in a accent I didn't understand I'd say call me one more time and I'll be filing a harassment charge that should get them to shut the hell up...

You occasionally get one every so often that may lack knowledge or may not be that helpful, it is like that with most, if not all companies.
