Don't get me wrong, i'm all for persevering through something, but you need to learn sometimes to just quit.

Eh, true. If it's a pointless thing one is striving for, then sure. But, if it has pure meaning and rewards, I wouldn't be one to give up.

There is a difference between quitting and giving up though. Quitting is just finding something and then getting to a stopping point, and quitting.

Giving up is having something that you know that you could do, and then can't do it for whatever you reason is, and giving up.
