Upgrade to ios7 then jailbreak it with Pangu. You can always download an ios6 theme if you dont like the ios7 one

Both are good but 7.1.1 doesn't have as many working tweaks as 6. So if you don't care then do it. 7.1.2 has most of the cool stuff anyways.
