I already know that most of you guys know how to appear offline. But, there is always that one problem with it, your profile saying the last time you were online, so it gives your friends the thought that you are just appearing offline. Well, I have found a solution for this problem.

There are two ways to accomplish this, I will list both of them.

Step 1: Unplug your Ethernet cord from your Xbox 360 or router. You will not have to do this if you have an Xbox Live passcode.

Step 2: Turn on your Xbox 360.

Step 3: Your account should be signed in, but, you should not be connected to Xbox Live. To make sure of this, press the guide button and it should say Connect to Xbox Live on the second line. If you see that, go to Preferences, Online Status, and go to Appear Offline.

Step 4: Now, you can plug in your Ethernet cable back into your Xbox 360 or router. Once, again, you will not have to do this if you have an Xbox Live passcode.

Step 5: Then, press the guide button and go to Connect to Xbox Live. For the people who are using the Xbox Live passcode, you will just have to type in your passcode and sign in.

This is a useful tutorial that will help most people and was made into 5 simple steps. I hope this tutorial helps you guys. I, personally, have use this method to sign in when I do not want my friends to know that I was online. This tutorial will help those with the passcode as it is not that much of a hassle to type in the passcode.
