Its probably because your a gold member you need to be a silver member
I can confirm that you don't need to be silver
I'm gold member and it gives me to redeem a code still my gold is running out on this friday
I redeemed one code at xbox.com

Yes your on your pc doing that try it on your xbox 360 and it will give you its invalid if your gold

Yes i know about being a gold member but i have a 2nd console which is on silver and codes are invalid on that one too.I have 6 codes altogether and there all invalid

Ahaa well i dont get it but i signed into xbox.com put the code in and it works very strange still invalid on the console silver account.
