I really love both paintings. I can imagine this style being used in an illustrated novel. If you enjoy writing as well as digital painting maybe you could try creating one?

The first time I saw a style like this was way back when i purchsed a Concept Art book.

Friendly tip, whenever you come out with more stuff, I'd just suggest a new post.
It would keep the confusion low, and organization is always nice.
You'll also get more feedback that way.

On topic, I loooove those last 2.

Not much planning most stuff is just done on the spot while painting, alot of happy accidents
