It is scripted, but it still hurts them. They are performers, not fighters. The moves they do can hurt and damage, not as much as its meant to look like it hurts, but it still does. Chair shots and weapon violence is on the low now because it is now PG. ECW (old ECW) was real. Look that shit up.

Want to know why both of those things happened? Steroids. The steroids screwed up Benoits brain from taking many blows to the head.. When they did an autopsy they said his brain was that of an 80 year olds brain. Eddie Guerrero? Steroids as well. Why? For the WWE. They put their lives on the line each and every day and HGH helped with the recovery processes of the injuries. But since the WWE is fake, injuries don't occur.

It is fake, but some stuff is real.

The whole show is fake, it is 100% fake. I use to watch it until I realized it was fake. Nothing is real in it, maybe like 5% is real.

The Chris Benoit situation I believe happened because of all his hits to the head from his finishing move the diving head but, all the untreated concussions, and it made him lose his mind. They said that he had the brain of an 80 year old man with Alzheimers when they studied his brain when he died.
