Gentlemen, I have here today a great advancement to the notification system.
This is a Chrome Extension, that not only improves the TTG notification system but, Integrates your PC with it.
Look Here
Here we have the main settings menu, for TheTechGame PLUS.
Here you can enable and Disable the notifications you would like to recieve

Here is a screenshot of the notification you will get when it is a New Topic Reply.

The Notifications even overlay every window so you will always be notified even when chrome is minimized.

The Above pictures are some alpha pictures, the Extension is not available ATM. Sorry
As Always if this is in someway not allowed, i will stop development.

Well done on attempting to make this. I've tired to make it in the past, and to no avail.
I've found a few json scripts on TTG that send info about notifications to the browser, and I assume you've used them for this plugin. I've tried a few times to create a plugin like this, but with little html, php and Javascript knowledge I was no good at making a plugin like this. Hell, I couldn't even figure out how to include and use a Chrome API in my plugin. :/
If you really care, I'm sure you could get the json if you wanted to anyway, but here's the json for the feed for the shoutbox. Maybe you could use this in your plugin.
modules.php?name=Members_Shout&am...=json_load
Anyway, well done on putting effort and time into this.

Thanks for the link, but at the moment i have no intentions of puting anything shoutbox related in the extension, Except maybe when you are @'d. Also thanks for the feedback ill be sure to tell you when the extension is available for download.

No need to login, the extension only needs a page of TTG to be open, it monitors when you get a new notification. And if you do get a new notification on TTG then it will send you a desktop notification.
