The game is fantastic for the story lines alone and the pvp/operations are able to keep you hooked for much longer. Personally I enjoy end game raiding on swtor the most out of what you can do.

If you want to enjoy the storyline and game to the fullest I recommend you buying a 15 dollar subscription for one month to enjoy the game as it's full without F2P restrictions then decide if you want to continue playing.

its pretty much free to play, the only down side is certain things arent accessible to F2P players, this is the same with pretty much any sort of model of game similar to this.

But yes, i would recommend just paying for one months subscription and playing it, its a lot of fun, i would recommend joining a Guild too, this adds more fun to the game and also gives you somewhere to ask for help if you get stuck or need advice.

if you have played WoW, you will be pretty familiar with SWTOR as its very very similar
