illa wrote I stopped following Eminem a long time ago. I honestly didn't even know he made a sequel to Stan. I haven't even listened to the whole MMLP2 album; only 2 of the singles.

Old Eminem > New Eminem
Why does everyone compare Eminem to himself? Ok, maybe you think Old Eminem> New Eminem, well New Eminem>Anyone else.

No offense to you but I hate it when Artist change people ALWAYS have to say "old artist>new artist".
People grow. You cant expect Eminem to act like hes 20 again when he is 40 years old.

Another example is Mac Miller.
His songs got a deeper meaning and he grew up and of course people said:
old mac > new mac.

I just dont understand.

I only used that Old > New because I like his old stuff better than his new; just like almost everyone does. New Eminem is not better than anyone else lol Anything made now (Mainstream like him) sucks.

Read above for the first part of why I used Old > New.

I understand people change. I wasn't saying that he has gotten worse or is a bad artist, because that is not the case. When people are around for a long time, their content begins to get boring in some people's eyes or some people just don't follow an artist like they used to, and to me that is how it has gone. Nothing against Eminem, just think he has been around for too long and I'm less interested in listening to his music like I used to be.

I live in Detroit and have visited Eminem's old house. Love the movie 8 Mile and everything, it's just his music that I'm not interested in anymore.

No offense taken

Find me another rapper that can put words together, change flows in the middle of a song and use the metaphors and wordplay he does currently.

I never said he was a bad artist or someone had the talent he does. I still like him as an artist. I'm just not interested to him anymore as the years go on. I think you took my post too serious and out of context.
